    Mar 19 - JV Blue came up empty handed after a trip to Richland, dropping a one-sided affair 11-1 on Monday evening. After Monday, across the Program the Mustangs have now outscored opponents 343 - 176. The results move the overall Program record to 31-13-3 (.660).  Go Mustangs!

    Mar 16 (Saginaw) - Mustangs finished the first District 7-5A series at Saginaw with a 7-0 victory.  Combined with the victory on Tuesday 9-4 at Grapevine, the Mustangs stand at 2-0 in the District.

    Game 1 of the Saginaw series saw Junior pitcher Isaac Logan on the mound.  Logan kept the Roughriders in check, recording 1BB 3ER 5K in the 94 pitch Win.  Logan was 2/4 from the leadoff spot.  Cyrus Campos was 3/4 2R 1RBI (2)2B, Alex Vergara was 2/4 2R 2B 3B 4RBI, Payton Reynolds was 2/3 1R 2RBI, and Colton Parsons was 2/3 1R.  Also picking up hits were Robert Antonetti, Mason Shimkus, and Kyler Mooney.  Carter Johnson pitched an inning in relief, picking up 1K.

    In Game 2 on Thursday night at Saginaw, Senior Colton Parsons notched 11K and 2BB over 6.0 IP, allowing 0ER, in a 7-0 victory. Junior Cole Stevens pitched the final inning giving up 1H and recording 1K 1BB. Parsons and Sean Snead each had 2H, including a 3RBI day for Snead. Others picking up hits were Robert Antonetti and Alex Vergara.

    Mar 17 (Carroll) - JV Red traveled to Carroll High School Saturday to take on the Southlake Dragons.  The Mustangs gave up a tying run in the bottom of the 7th to knot the score at 5-5.  After a brief discussion between umpires and coaches, the teams took the field to play bonus baseball.  In the top of the 8th, JV Red pushed 4 runs across, and held the Dragons in the bottom half to pick up the 9-5 victory.  Colin Curry and Eli Gossett each had 2 hits in the victory. Andrew Bell had a hit and 2R, while Sophomore Konlan McKinley had a clutch 2RBI single in the 8th, as the Mustangs were held to just 6 hits.  Collin Means had 2SB.  Etter, Vieth, and Quinn combined on the mound to hold Southlake to 3ER, helped in large part by 3 double play turns.  In March JV Red has a team BA of .350, OBP .476, and a blistering OPS of .921. Over that same span, the team pitching ERA is 1.74.  JV Red hosts Chisolm Trail on Tuesday @ 5pm.

    Mar 18 (Richland) - JV Blue traveled to Richland to face the Rebels JV on their home field.  No one knew they were running into a buzzsaw of tough pitching and offensive power.  Two Richland JV pitchers combined to hold the JV Blue bats silent, posting a stat line of 1H 1ER 6K, en route to an 11-1 victory by Richland.  Freshman DJ Catalano had the only JV Blue hit of the evening, a two-bagger. Lucas Bradshaw picked up the RBI and Jace Nelson scored the run.  Nelson also had a stolen base.  JV Blue gets back into action on Saturday at 1:30pm @ JJ Pearce. 

    Mar 17 (GHS) - Freshman were off on Saturday.  Freshman Mustangs host Chisholm Trail on Tuesday @ 7pm.
